Grateful for yj and mm who are still here
Roomed w roo last night
Went mad playing Ma Tong among many other games w some of e ppl
Did gardening just now
Which somehow set me back into that thinking mode which I had been avoiding
"Pull out those weeds outside the gates"

Stop
Why do we need to pull the weeds
They're bad to us but
They're also plants
Don't they have the right to live too
Who are we to pull them out and kill them like that
Weeds
Grow where they aren't meant to grow
But doesn't everything happen for a reason?
They don't belong
But does that mean they have to die just cos they don't belong
Will weeds ever fit in anywhere?
Even if they bring the worst effects and are practically useless, do they necessarily need the fate of death sentence?
How about humans
If some humans are useless like weeds
And use up resources of others
If some of them just don't belong anywhere
Does that mean they need to die?
Will weeds ever be able to grow in a place that's meant for them?
Protected from human damage
And everything else
Where they can finally belong?
I silently thought a prayer that these weeds might have a place in heaven too
Then I pulled
Pulled harder
Pull.
Can I ever hope to belong somewhere someday too?
Maybe not
